Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before downloading, installing, or using GoonWall ("Software", "we", "us"). By using GoonWall you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
By downloading, installing, activating, or otherwise using GoonWall — whether the Free tier or the paid Pro tier — you accept these Terms in full. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and the GoonWall developer ("Developer"). If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use GoonWall on a single computer that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
Pro License: A Pro license key is tied to a single machine. You may not share, resell, sublicense, or transfer your license key to another person or device without prior written permission from the Developer.
This license does not include any right to modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of GoonWall, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
You agree that you will not:
GoonWall is a local video playback tool. It does not upload, transmit, index, or store your media files on any external server. All content you load into the Software remains on your own device.
Important: GoonWall does not endorse, encourage, or facilitate the use of copyrighted material without authorisation. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content you play within GoonWall is content you own, have licensed, or are otherwise legally permitted to use. The Developer assumes no liability for your use of third-party content.
By using GoonWall you represent and warrant that: (a) you have the legal right to play all content you load into the Software; (b) your use of that content does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party; and (c) you will indemnify and hold harmless the Developer from any claim arising from your content or your use thereof.
Pro licenses are sold as annual subscriptions through Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor. All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds, except where required by applicable law (e.g. EU consumer protection rights where applicable).
Before purchasing, you are encouraged to use the Free tier to confirm that GoonWall runs correctly on your system. The Developer cannot guarantee compatibility with every hardware configuration. Failure to test before purchase does not constitute grounds for a refund.
All payment processing, receipts, and dispute resolution related to purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy. The Developer is not responsible for billing errors, payment failures, or chargebacks handled by that third party.
GoonWall is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Developer expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
The Developer does not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses; that defects will be corrected; or that the Software will meet your specific requirements. You use GoonWall entirely at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to your use of GoonWall — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, or computer damage — even if the Developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall the Developer's total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising under these Terms exceed the amount you paid for the Software in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $10.00, whichever is greater.
These Terms are effective until terminated. Your rights under these Terms terminate automatically and without notice from the Developer if you fail to comply with any term. Upon termination you must cease all use of GoonWall and destroy all copies in your possession.
The Developer reserves the right to suspend or revoke your license key at any time, with or without cause, in cases of suspected Terms violation, fraud, or chargeback. No refund will be issued upon termination for cause.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of GoonWall shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
The Developer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where feasible, via an in-app notice. Continued use of GoonWall after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Software.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by the Developer, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Developer concerning GoonWall and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications or proposals, whether electronic, oral, or written.
